EPIC Restaurant is delighting the Chicago, River North area by offering French cuisine set to a dramatic background. Executive Chef Stephen Wambach’s love for sophisticated cuisine and impeccable presentation are a perfect fit for this industrial-chic setting.  Located in a transformed 20th century mill, EPIC offers a setting which invigorates the diner while still providing a feeling of intimacy.

Chef Wambach has been influenced by chefs such as Claude Troisgros, Marc Meneau and Laurent Tourondel who have instilled classic French technique into Wambach’s repertoire. He most recently served as Corporate Chef to Tourondel’s BLT Restaurant Group in New York where he oversaw restaurants all over the world.

EPIC has many signature dishes, but currently the menu’s star is the Halibut En Croute.  Chef Wambach uses artichoke barigoule, local asparagus and snap peas to create a spring inspired bed for the perfectly cooked Halibut. Chef Wambach’s careful attention to detail of both ingredients and presentation make every dish at EPIC a must try.
